A welcome arrival
It was with great pleasure that we all received my parents return from their travels!! the vacation was extended from february to march then march to april. we were beginning to wonder if there would actually be a return date. It is customary that Filipinos bring balikbayan when they go to visit as well as when they return. Here's just a portion of what my parents brought to share. The family room was empty and clean before they returned.

Thank you Gina for sharing this pracious memory. It is the same in our culture (Ethiopian). My parents bring a lot of stuff to share too. I cant, wait to show Kaleb the pictures. What a blessing to have grand parents around. You are a very special person that God brought in my life. I hope we will keep in touch even if the boys might not be in the same school.
