Pete and the boys spent the last few weeks sanding, painting, designing these wooden cars. Pete took a vacation day to bring the boys and watch their cars compete in the Pine Wood Derby; and it was really appreciated by each of us.
The Royal Rangers Regional Pinewood Derby was this weekend, open to boys and girls of all ages, from kindergarten to adult. The Royal Rangers program is for reaching, teaching, and keeping boys for Jesus Christ.

This car came in first place for two races in Division 2
Royal Rangers has been a great 'guy' outlet - camp outs, rocket launching, overnight adventures, building treehouses, building derby cars, bon fires and more. Pete has been teaching and assisting in the Ranger Kids division since our boys joined.
How fun! I love that Pete put so much time and effort into something so special with the boys. Tell them, great job reacing!
